OCA’s COBRA Subsidy Verification FAQs
What if their is someone not on this Verification File sent by OCA that you feel should be an AEI?
Please add those individuals to the excel workbook on the sheet labeled “Additional QBs”. This would also be if you had an eligible individual(s) who either did not previously elect COBRA or elected but let their coverage lapse prior to OCA administering COBRA services, they may still qualify for the COBRA subsidy.
I have individuals listed that have been rehired and shouldn’t receive the subsidy. How should I communicate that to OCA?
Please type in “rehired” under the additional comments column for all those that it’s applicable too. OCA will then reactivate those individuals as being active in our system, thus not applicable to the subsidy notices.
